In this 3-day workshop, we will aquire and analyze data live during the hands-on session. We will use an established paradigm in psycho-physiological research that targets face processing (Figures 1 and 2 below). Several of the dependent metrics used here are also utilized in different experimental contexts, and the "how-to's" apply and generalize to various research directions.
In particular, the paradigm consists of the presentation of faces or geometric objects. The geometric objects a presented sequentially either clockwise or counter clockwise. The face images were created with DALLE. On each trial (face or object), an image is presented for 2 seconds, followed by an inter-image baseline interval of 3 seconds (±1 second). During this baseline interval, participants are instructed to maintain their gaze direction on a fixation cross. Apart from this, they are asked to passively view what is presented on screen, with no other tasks included.

We will record with a 24 electrode system (MBrain Train). In addition, Eye tracking will be monitored by a Tobii Fusion Pro.
